Oakmoss resinoid.

A delightful component that is used in high-end perfumery as a fixative and gives all kinds of perfumes a rich natural tone. It also has a healing effect - antiseptic, fixing, expectorant, healing.

 

 

 

In appearance, it is a dark solid or viscous mass with a persistent, strong and subtle aroma. Deep, woody, moss, bark and earth aroma. The characteristic smell of oak moss is given by α- and β-thujone, camphor, borneol, cineol, naphthalene, phenol, geraniol, citranellol, vanillin, etc.

 

Oakmoss is used as the base for many blends and pairs well with both warm ingredients (sandalwood, cinnamon, tonka) and intoxicating scents of jasmine and tuberose.

 

Mixes well

with top notes - Mandarin, Petitgrain, Lavender, Bergamot, Neroli, Galbanum, Basil, Nutmeg; middle notes - Cardamom, Nutmeg, Jasmine, Rose, Clove (spice); base notes are vetiver, vanilla, patchouli, hibiscus (mallow), cedar.
